Course Includes:

  • 80 Page Workbook (PDF)

Every page of your workbook has been designed to help you understand yourself and your relationships, and to help you transform the experience of chronic scanning for threat in everyone and everything. Living in chronic hyper-vigilance and living with the trauma of shame, compulsive caretaking, meaning making and even isolating - are all responses to trying to manage a mind and body on constant active duty. We being with identifying and assessing your hyper-vigilant trauma personality traits and symptoms, then move into Complex PTSD, the science behind fear and hyper-viglance. Next, we move into attachment theory, trauma bonds, boundaries, emotional abuse, identity development and emotions -- alongside Poly-Vagal Theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mentalization based skills. Every aspect of chronic hypervigilance and eggshell relationships are explored and explained to understand yourself and your "Hypervigilant Trauma Personality."

  • 43 Video Lessons

Your online course includes 43 individual videos --designed to help you identify and heal your chronic hyper-vigilance and hyper-sensitivity-- as a result of relational trauma from your Eggshell Parents or Partners. Through warm, open support and education, we explore every element of your life that has been impacted by "need to read" the adults and people in your life. You have often learned to identify emotions, behaviors and relationship patterns that feel unpredictable, unstable or even unsafe, and as a result you can feel exhausted, anxious, and chronically stressed and sensitive to everything and everyone. Each video will help you transform your life and symptoms and to create a personalized plan to understand yourself and your life, as well as to experience a deeper sense of peace and self-compassion. Videos range from a few minutes to approximately 15 minutes. Each lesson is targeted toward understanding the exercises and material so you can create your own learning handbook.

  • Guided Meditations & Journal Prompts

Course includes guided meditations and journal prompts: Guided Meditations include The Container Exercise (an audio version and shorter written version in course), The Safe Place Guided Meditation, Side to Side Eye Movement Technique (an EMDR type exercise), and the Exploring Emotions without Judgment Exercise. Additionally, the Safe Place Exercise can also be recorded in your own voice- which can help to increase meditation and focus for many people. A script is also provided. Each meditation is designed to help you primarily manage overwhelming emotions and thoughts often driven by chronic hypervigilance and hyper-sensitivity. The meditations provided have been primarily chosen to help you manage emotional dysregulation- and the chronic over-thinking, over-feeling and over-analyzing which accompany hyper vigilance-- and which tend to drive a desire to off load those emotions and thoughts by people pleasing, avoiding conflict, isolating, etc.
